Our expertise in the wind energy industry
Founded in 1989, our team curated experience in the wind-energy sector by designing and producing wind turbine towers under our subsidiary Advanced Tower Systems. After many successful projects and years of growth, we were ready to take on a new challenge that applies our expertise beyond wind turbine towers.
Engineering to make an impact
Building on that foundation, we are now continuing under the Mecal name, where we continue to explore new opportunities to apply our technical expertise. Through Mecal Nodes, we contribute to the support of marine ecosystems by bringing thoughtful engineering into the underwater environment. Next to this, Mecal Applied Mechanics focuses on the development of advanced measurement systems that enhance wind energy performance.
